Chocolate Peanut Butter Probiotic Protein Balls

These chocolate peanut butter probiotic protein balls will become a household staple once you’ve tried them. They are full of protein, fat and fibre to help feed your hunger while keeping your blood sugar balanced. They contain maca powder and probiotics to help promote a healthy gut lining, keeping unwanted inflammation at bay.

Ditch the processed varieties from the store and make these protein-packed snacks at home.

½ C Cashews
1 C Almond flour
½ C Grass-fed vanilla protein powder
½ C Dates soaked
½ C Natural Peanut Butter (just peanuts and salt, no added sugar or vegetable oils)
2 Tbsp Raw organic cacao
1 Tbsp Chia seeds
1 Tbsp Virgin coconut oil
1 Tbsp Maca powder
2 Capsules of good quality probiotics
2 Tbsp Raw cacao nibs (add last)

Servings: 18-20 balls | Time: 15 mins | Equipment: food processor

Directions:

Start by boiling some water and soaking your dates (5 mins). Combine the dry ingredients into a food processor and pulse to combine. Drain the hot water from the dates and add them to the processor with the wet ingredients and pulse. Add cacao nibs last and pulse to mix. Roll into balls and place on a baking sheet to cool in the fridge or freezer. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
