They contain maca powder and probiotics to help promote a healthy gut lining, which will keep unwanted inflammation at bay (more on inflammation to come) and balance hormones. Here’s the goods:
½ C Cashews
1 C Almond flour
¼ C Coast Peanut Butter Cricket Protein Powder
½ C Dates soaked
½ C Natural Peanut Butter
2 Tbsp Raw organic cacao
1 Tbsp Chia seeds
1 Tbsp Virgin coconut oil
1 Tbsp Maca powder
2 Capsules of good quality probiotics
2 Tbsp Raw cacao nibs (add last)
Start by boiling some water and soaking your dates (5 mins). Combine dry ingredients into food processor: cashews, almond flour, protein, cacao, chia, maca, and opened probiotic capsules. Pulse to combine. Pour out the hot water dates were soaking in and add with peanut butter and coconut oil to processor and pulse. Add cacao nibs last and pulse to maintain their texture. Roll into balls, place on baking sheet to cool in fridge or freezer. Store in airtight container in fridge or freezer. Makes roughly 18-20 balls.
